Christmas and New Years in Alabama
We spent a fun-filled and relaxing three weeks in Alabama with Mario's family for the holidays. I realized as I put these pictures on the blog that I didn't get many of Mario's family. He took some with the camera but I'm so late with this post that I'm just using my iphone stuff.
Mario's mom and dad absolutely spoil the kids and Dulce spend days after getting back to Utah saying how she wished she was still in Alabama :) Mario's mom is an excellent cook (and I've actually LOST weight since coming back from there, despite being *almost* in my third trimester) and we ate a lot of tasty stuff! Mario's dad is also a great cook and made some of the most delicious fish I've ever had!
Mario got to do some pawn shopping with hid dad and golfing with a friend, but mostly it was just everyone hanging out at the house. The kids loved the dogs and chickens and chicks. Mario's dad MADE a see-saw for Dulce one day. We went to two different beaches, saw some movies, and got to catch up with Gaby and Mariana.
I didn't really document it, but Mario and I also celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. Mario's parents watched the kids and we did dinner, a movie and a night over in New Orleans. I had never been there before and I thought French Quarter was so cute.
We spend a little bit of time at the beach after the outlets one day. It was a little chilly, but Bela and Dulce LOVED the sand. Makes me wish we lived near a beach!
Having fun with mom in Relief Society
Dulce with her chick. We bought two the Saturday after arriving. Mario's parents still had the two that they had bought with Dulce two years earlier when she spent two weeks with them during the summer.

Dulce couldn't pull herself away to let me take a decent picture. Mama and Papa Abue were so nice to play playdoh with her for hours on end!
